Victoria has over 12 years’ experience working in social research. She joined BritainThinks in 2017 from the Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute where she headed up their policy, services and regulation business.
Victoria is an experienced mixed methodologist, working across a range of qualitative and quantitative disciplines. She has worked with numerous councils, government departments, regulators, charities and think tanks, delivering insight to support service prioritisation and transformation, policy development and evaluation and reputation management, in addition to stakeholder engagement, communications, customer satisfaction and liveability studies. She has worked extensively across the local government sector, along with clients including Highways England, The Royal Parks, Age UK, Arts Council England and Public Health England.
Victoria previously worked in corporate research and policy roles at the City of London Corporation and London Borough of Camden, and before that for consultancy Shared Intelligence Ltd, which she joined after graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Victoria regularly commentates about the issues facing local government and wider society. She is a member of the Market Research Society and the Local Area Research & Intelligence Association.
