Katy joined BritainThinks in December 2017 through our internship programme. Prior to this, she studied at the University of Oxford where she gained a first-class degree in Archaeology & Anthropology. Katy is particularly interested in ethnographic fieldwork and wrote a 15,000-word dissertation on representations of China in Liverpool’s museums, for which she conducted depth interviews within the contemporary Chinese community in Liverpool.
She has work experience in the heritage sector, including an internship at the Ashmolean Museum, and has also worked for a tech start-up which offered her valuable insight into business development and strategy.
Since joining BritainThinks, Katy has worked on a range of projects for clients spanning the financial services, arts & heritage, energy, charity and public sectors.
