Hettie joined BritainThinks as a research executive in July 2017. Since then, she has worked on projects using a wide range of qualitative methodologies, from depth interviews with vulnerable audiences to larger-scale deliberative workshops with members of the public. She has worked with public, corporate and third sector clients including the Home Office, Financial Conduct Authority and Macmillan Cancer Support and has particular experience undertaking complex research with hard-to-reach and vulnerable audiences, often on sensitive issues.
Her background in consumer communications – having previously worked at PR agency Hope&Glory for clients including Barclays, O2 and Airbnb – means she also has a keen interest in communications and reputation research.
Hettie has a first-class degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.
