Eleanor Langdale

Eleanor recently joined BritainThinks through the internship programme.

Prior to joining BritainThinks she worked in a small PR agency, and has also worked part-time in events and hospitality. She gained an MA with Distinction in African Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, and also has a first-class degree in African Studies from the University of Birmingham. 

Eleanor is particularly interested in urban research and has written a dissertation on the changing political symbolism of architecture in Accra, Ghana. She’s conducted a research project in a high-school near Accra, and also has a growing interest in the anthropology of food. She occasionally writes for Vice Munchies.
