David joined the BritainThinks team in September 2016. Since then he has worked on projects for a range of public, corporate and third sector clients including the Home Office, Shelter, Abbott and the Arts Council. He has a particular interest in third sector communications research.
Before joining BritainThinks, he lived in France for a year, where he taught English in a secondary school. He was formerly a director at the School Exclusion Project, a student-run volunteer organisation that represents children who have been permanently excluded from school. He studied as the Henry Fellow at Yale in 2013-14 and has a first-class History BA from Cambridge, where his research led him to interview former civil rights volunteers about their experiences in the 1960s.
