Andrew joined BritainThinks through our internship programme in May 2018. He previously studied at SOAS, where he holds a first-class degree in Social Anthropology, and LSE, where he gained a master’s in Political Sociology. While at LSE, Andrew completed his dissertation on social housing provision in East London, and has presented a paper on African philosophy while completing his undergraduate degree. He is fascinated by the changing shape of the welfare state, alongside a strong interest in cultural theory.
Andrew has a wide range of experiences, having previously worked in IT, as a researcher for a well-known health charity, as well as developing a broad global understanding through frequent travel.
