The insecurity of work in the UK 'gig economy' has been a key talking point in recent media coverage, and a running theme of the 2017 General Election. What does the British public make of the topic? And which party does it trust on employment-related issues?
BritainThinks conducted this mixed methodology study for Indeed, the world’s largest job site, about public perceptions of employment-related issues ahead of the 2017 General Election. A national poll of 2008 adults was followed by two qualitative focus groups in different locations with employed people eligible to vote.
