BritainThinks in the news.
Public sector budgets are shrinking and demand for public services continues to grow. Radical change is needed. This requires difficult decisions, among them, which public services should be delivered by the private and not-for-profit sectors?
In order to understand what the public thinks on the issue, PwC and BritainThinks convened a Citizens' Jury in June, with 20 members of the public.
BritainThinks has previously run Citizens' Juries with PwC on a range of topics, including 'Dealing with the Deficit' and citizens' views of quality in the NHS.
Leading charity Diabetes UK has recommissioned BritainThinks to conduct a follow-up survey with its stakeholders.
The firststakeholder survey was carried out by BritainThinks last year.
Qualitative depth interviews will take place with senior representatives from Government and Politics, Health, Think Tanks and academics, Corporates and Media.
Deborah Mattinson, Founding Director of BritainThinks, said: “I am delighted that Diabetes UK has chosen us to carry out further research, building on our strong working relationship.”
